As we move through March, we are reminded of the historical warning of the Ides of March—traditionally a time of upheaval and uncertainty. Today, we see similar uncertainty in the world around us. From the turmoil in Washington, D.C., to economic concerns that ripple through our communities, we know that many are feeling the weight of instability.
But here at ACTS, our mission remains unchanged. Through every season—through every challenge—we stand firm in our commitment to serving the people of Prince William County. Because of you, our dedicated supporters, we are able to provide food to families facing hunger, shelter to those seeking safety, and hope to individuals in crisis.
Spring is a season of renewal. It reminds us that after the cold and the storms, there is growth and new beginnings. It’s also a time for us to recommit to our purpose, to strengthen our resolve, and to ensure that no one in our community is left without help. But we cannot do it alone.
This year, the need for our services continues to grow. Food insecurity, housing instability, and crisis support requests have all increased. As we work to meet these demands, we need your help more than ever. Whether through financial contributions, volunteer time, or advocacy, your support ensures that ACTS can continue to be a lifeline for those in need.
We ask you to stand with us this spring. Renew your commitment to ACTS and to the people we serve. Your generosity—your belief in our mission—makes all the difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we will move forward with hope, strength, and unwavering dedication to our community.
With gratitude,
Dr. Stanley B. Jones
