As we step into March, a month associated with starting over as Spring arrives, I want to invite you to channel that spirit into action through our Act Now for ACTS campaign. This initiative is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a movement to mobilize our community in support of those who need us most.
For over 50 years, ACTS has been a lifeline for individuals and families in crisis. From providing emergency food and housing to crisis intervention and domestic violence support, we stand as a pillar of hope in Prince William County. But our work is only possible through the generosity of people like you—our volunteers, donors, and partners who believe in the power of community-driven change.
How You Can Act Now for ACTS
1. Volunteer Your Time – Whether you have an hour or a day to give, your time can make an impact. Join us in our food pantry, help answer crisis hotline calls, or lend a hand at one of our shelters. Every act of service matters.
2. Make a Gift – No donation is too small to change a life. A $50 contribution can provide a week’s worth of food for a family, while $250 can help prevent eviction for a neighbor in need. Your financial support helps keep our doors open to those who need us most.
3. Spread the Word – Advocacy is action. Share our mission with your network, invite friends to get involved, and help us raise awareness about the challenges facing vulnerable members of our community.
February is a time to show love, and there is no greater love than lifting up those in need. Will you Act Now for ACTS?
Visit ACTS to donate, volunteer, or learn more about how you can be part of this mission. Together, we can build a stronger, more compassionate community—one act at a time.
With gratitude,
Dr. Stanley B. Jones
CEO, ACTS (Action in Community Through Service)
