ACTS Turning Points is the only Domestic Violence intervention program serving Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. Services include a domestic violence shelter, individual counseling, support groups for men, women and children, a behavioral intervention program, court advocacy and accompaniment, Hispanic services, training for allied professionals; and community awareness presentations and outreach.

The crisis line is answered 24 hours a day. Calling this number, a person can speak to an advocate who will listen, offer support and give you information regarding available options and safety planning. No fees charged.
Domestic Violence Shelters
The shelters are safe places for adults and children who are homeless because of domestic violence. Their locations are confidential and are contacted through the crisis line. No fees charged.
Court Advocacy Office
Individual counseling on court procedures, resources and safety is available for individuals applying for a protective order to stop the abuse. A court advocate can provide accompaniment to court. No fees charged.
Adult Advocacy Program

The focus of the program is victim safety, boundary setting and empowerment of individuals to lead abuse free lives using resources through individual counseling and support groups. No fee is charged.
Behavioral Intervention Program

Domestic Violence and Anger Management program for men and women who have been court ordered or self-referred to attend classes. Participants learn to take responsibility for their behavior, regulate anger, improve interpersonal communication skills and develop improved self-esteem. Fees apply.

The Children’s Program provides support groups centered on activities for children between the ages of 5 and 17. The focus of the program is teaching problem-solving skills, exploring feelings and building self-esteem. No fees charged.

The purpose of this program is to meet the needs of Hispanic individuals. This program offers education and support groups and focuses on safety planning, building self-esteem and communication skills. No fees charged.
